[ Installation and setup ] [ Known Problems and Bugs ] [ eQSO x home ]
I have noticed on occasion that if the System Monitor Server connection gets dropped (for example the System Monitor Server get's restarted) it doesn't always refresh it correctly when it reconnects (although it does reconnect). I'm looking at that at the moment, although it's a tricky one to isolate and most of the time it works correctly.
I have only been able to test eQSOx on FreeBSD jails with Linux compatibility modules installed because that's all I have access to.
There is one known problem with FreeBSD which relates again to the System Monitor connection. If that get's dropped (if I reboot the System Monitor Server for example) FreeBSD really doesn't like it and considers it such a serious offence that it decides to send a SIGTERM to a whole bunch of threads (including connected client threads).
It's not a friendly way of dealing with what should be a simple "I'll just wait until it's back online and refresh it" and I'm looking into it at the moment.
In the meantime, if you must run on *BSD expect it to crash once in a while if the System Monitor Server goes down.
